De reden dat ik deze blog ben begonnen is het 5 pieces french wardrobe system.
Het leek me handig om niet alles thuis op de computer bij te hoeven houden en mooie foto's te plaatsen en bij te houden wat ik nog wel en niet mag kopen.

I thaought it would be convenient not to manage my plans at the home computer and to be able to publish nice pictures.
Het idee van het 5 pieces systeem is dat je een goede basisgarderobe hebt. Die basisgarderobe is voor iedereen anders, maar de meest standaard dingen zijn: jeans, LBD, witte blouse enz. Ik heb mijn lijstje klaar en ben tot de conclusie gekomen dat mijn basisgarderobe zoals ik die graag zou zien nog niet compleet is. Als je je basisgarderobe op orde hebt, mag je elke modeseizoen (lente-zomer en herfst-winter) 5 dingen kopen die wat meer trendgevoelig zijn. Op die manier zou je minder miskopen doen, beter nadenken over wat je koopt en geld over houden. Dat geld kun je dan investeren in je basisgarderobe. Naast de 5 stukken, mag je ook dingen voor je basisgarderobe kopen.
Ik ga zaterdag shoppen in Amsterdam en heb mijn lijstje klaar :-).
Voor mijn basisgarderobe wil ik graag een mooie zwarte Mulberry Bayswater. Verder staat op het lijstje een wit jurkje (trend), een gele tas (trend) , een neutraal short (trend) en een basic t-shirt. Als ik slaag, heb ik ook in totaal 5 piecesgekocht. Zondag laat ik jullie mijn aankopen zien!

The principle behind the 5 Piece French Wardrobe is that you only buy 5 trend (and higher quality) pieces within one fashionseason. Basics don't count as a piece.
It's important that you alreadyhave a good quality basic wardrobe. You need to have your basics on track. A basic wardrobe differs from person to person, but most common are: jeans, LBD, white shirt etc. I made a list and came to the conclusion that my basic wardrobe isn't complete yet. It is supposed to be orientated at the classic and timeless style of French women and aimes to build a solid classy wardrobe.
I'm going shopping in Amsterdam next saturday and on my wishlist is a black Mulberry Bayswater as a basic. On my trendy list are: a white dress, a yellow bag, a short in a nude colour and a basic white tee.
