Trends autumn - winter 2011-2012

Hoewel we er nog niet aan willen denken nu we eindelijk wat beter weer hebben, beginnen de herfst en winter collecties alweer binnen te druppelen. Ook de planning van het 5 piece systeem voor de herfst en winter vraagt om wat aandacht. Daarom heb ik voor jullie de catwalkverslagen en tijdschriften bekeken om de trends voor herfst en winter 2011 - 2012 te ontdekken en er is voor iedereen wat wils de komende winter!

Although we don't want to think about it yet, despite the good weather, fall and winter are coming. The new collections are starting to find their way to the stores and planning my five piece system is starting to ask for attention. Therefore I checked the catwalkreports and magazines for you to check the trends for fall and winter 2011-2012. There's something for everybody this autumn.



Colourblocking: deze trend overleeft de zomer. Ook in de winter en de herfst blijft colourblocking super trendy.

Colourblocking survives the summer. It's still supertrendy to mix and match colours as the temperatures drop.

Dierenprints zijn hip en trendy. Was het afgelopen maanden vooral de luipaardprint, in de herfst en winter is een slangenprint onmisbaar in je kast. Ik denk dat ik deze trend aan me voorbij laat gaan. Dierenprints zijn altijd moeilijk om leuk te dragen zonder dat het ordinair wordt. Wil je dit toch dragen dan zorgt een combinatie met zwart ervoor dat een slangenprint draagbaar is.

Very fashionable and trendy are animal prints. The last few months I spotted a lot of leopardprints, but particularly snakeprint-items will be hot this fall. I think I'll skip this trend as I find it very hard to make good combinations with an animalprint without looking a bit trashy. I think one of the smartest things to do when wearing animalprints is to style it with black.

Stippen. Deze winter is niet alleen de polkadot in, maar alle kleding en accessoires met stippen.

Dots. These winter it is not only the polkadot that rules, but all clothing and accessoires with dots.




Het pak. Het pak voor de vrouw is weer helemaal terug. Mijn favoriete combinatie is die van Gucci, met mooie vrouwelijke hoed en corsage. Dit is een trend naar mijn hart, vrouwelijk en stijlvol.
The suit. Beautiful suits for women are completely back in the game. The styling of Gucci is my favourit. I really like this trend, it's classy and feminine.

Breisels
Breisels zijn zoals bijna iedere winter hot! Wil je voor een superhippe look gaan, kies dan voor een breisel met een print, rendieren doen het goed op sjaals (zelfs de H&M heeft een sjaal met rendieren). Maar ook etnische prints doen het erg goed in de winkels en dan vooral op vesten en truien.


Mountain lady/ethnic knitwear
Just like every winter, knitwear is hot! If you want a really trendy look, choose knits with a print, you see a lot of reindeers, especially on scarfs (even H&M has a scarf with reindeers on it). But ethnic prints will also give you a very on trend look, you see these nog only on accessories, but on vest and cardigans too.
